How about an app that allows you to track your menopause symptoms, determine treatments, journal and even email your doctor? myPause, now available from AppSolutions, can do all that and more.
Having tinkered with myPause for the past few weeks, I found three features particularly useful:
- Journal. Record your symptoms from a list of about thirty, rating their severity and how often they occurred.
- Trends. Shows when and how often your symptoms took place. This is helpful since you're able to see if, and how, your symptoms are related to your diet and lifestyle.
- Plan. Allows you to track your activities, diet, vitamin and supplement use, and medications.
Check out the video and share your thoughts. Can technology possibly make your journey a little easier?

Holly - thanks for the shoutout!! We are very proud of myPause - created by women, for women. It's the ONLY Menopause tracker app in an appstore of 140,000 apps!!! I like to joke that it's truly the only app that has the right to be pre-installed on the new iPad (Seriously, could they not think of a better name? I bet there were no women in the room when they agreed that name!!).
We wanted to empower women with information about their own situation and about perimenopause/menopause in general, without all the commerical buzz. We've had lots of positive feedback, especially about the ability to email your journal data to your doc before visits. (Docs love this too!)
We crammed a lot of features into this app and we've tried to make them all intuitive, but you're right that some are not as obvious. We'd love to hear your specific feedback. We're in the middle of creating our next version, so all suggestions are welcome. We've got a couple new features to add and we want to fix anything that the users identify as bothersome.
We also tried to make bunches of demo videos not just on the features, but also very specifically for certain situations (eg, 'I've just had a hot flash, what do I do?'). You can find them on the website (www.myappsolution.com/mypause/faqs.htm) or on our YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/myPauseapp).
ENJOY and please send us your feedback. We're on Twitter (@myPause_app) and love to tweet. Come and join us!
There is always MenopauseTracker.com for nthe non-app people. And it's free
I just want to use this opportunity to introduce Andropause (male menopause). I have it and not a lot of people are aware of this. Men are misunderstood by their partners and even by themselves. In a lot of cases, ignorance to this leads to divorce due to the unwanted effects of andropause. It has almost all the symptoms of menopause. Or I think it does.. here are the following symptoms, - Hypogonadism- Natural Impotence- Hormone Imbalance- Night Sweats- Mood swings- low libido levels, etc...But unlike menopause, which does not last forever, andropause does and that is why there are already medications for the said stage. some of the remedies for this concern are: - Testim (used to help raise testosterone hormone levels in the body)- Androgens (steroid hormones: natural and synthetic: controls the development and preservation of masculine characteristics)- Kegel Exercises for Impotent Men- Libido Enhancers - Male Enhancers (not recommended)- Natural Testosterone For Libido Enhancement- Bioidentical Hormones for Men- Bioidentical Hormone Therapy- etc... So if your husband/ male friends have it, recommend that they go have themselves checked and see what remedy would best suit them. For more info on andropause, go to: Andropause
That is the site that enlightened me to seek help Thanks!
ffffffffffffffffffffff
There are several ways to counteract the effects of menopause, whether man or woman, one of them is making any kind of exercise, just as there are many medications. if you want to know about the drugs available can visit my page. Thank you.
Menopause is the end of menstruation. The word comes from the Greek mens, meaning monthly, and pausis, meaning cessation. Menopause is part of a woman's natural aging process when her ovaries produce lower levels of the hormones estrogen and progesterone and when she is no longer able to become pregnant.
I recommended TIENS Product for you.

Ok. I saw this post and I just had to comment. Who is making these recommendations on this application. We certainly are not taking the lifestyle approach when making the recommendations to these women. That is again why I developed Menopause Support so that women can make informed decisions in their care.
